Good stuff as always,I love the "Askari ",ambulatory mules,reminds me to paint mine for the Asia korps in Palestine.

Reminds me of Shake, Rattle and Roll.  I doubt that they were comfortable in any way.  I like the awning, on the Askari ones, to keep the soldiers out of the sun.

Not much to add to blog really. I like odd things to paint when I'm bored if im honest,it keeps me going when otherwise I might falter. Mules from Askari are not worth price plus postage from USA really,but were a gift from Dave Paddock so doubly welcome. The figures are from Pulp Figures British Infantrry Command set and the casualty from Redoubt
'S Zulu War range. I plan. To add it to the Brigade HQ of the RFF but probably not look at a Medic rule ala BOLT ACTION set.
