« on: 13 November 2014, 02:55:06 PM »
This is my list for Saturday's battle. It contains all the minis I have painted for Swedes so far.

Swedish division   37fsp

General: Erik Stenbock **** 5fsp

National Reiter Regiment: 11fsp (Break 6)
Col. Per Oxenstierna ***
Lt-Col. Jöns Brahe *
Maj. Dodo Knyphausen *
8 x 2 unarmored reiters

National Infantry Regiment: 6fsp (Break 6)
Col. Nils Löwenkopf ***
4 x 2 musketeers
4 x 1 Pikemen
3pdr gun

National Infantry Regiment: 6fsp (Break 6)
Col. Johann Falkenberg ***
4 x 2 musketeers
4 x 1 Pikemen
3pdr gun

Dragoon Regiment: 4fsp (Break 3)
Col. Bernhard Hofkirchen ***
4 x 2 dragoons

Additional Units:
Artillery Maj.  Claus Khevenhüller *
2 x 3pdr gun 2fsp
1 x 6pdr gun 2fsp
2 x 3 mercenary musketeers 2fsp

My opponent is wielding a very large Polish force. It´s a demonstration game, so we have decided to share our force compositions before the game.

Kiitos ja Moi!

They turned out pretty good.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Desperate, craven Swedes try to attack through superior Polish forces... And getting news of more urgent battle elsewhere brave Poles dash away to help king and country...

Part of the Polish division deployed:

Olofeus surprised me by choosing to attack and managed to shoot the Polish attack from its deployment zone into shambles.

Full report of the catastrophe in my blog as usual.

Nice experience - a bit unwieldy for demo game though. Tactically it would have required me to make the Swede come to me instead of letting him sit tight and shoot my approaching troops to pieces. Space for that was rater limited though.
