(COMMERCIAL) bad service from Waugh Games
« on: 27 February 2015, 08:18:15 PM »
Well, no service actually. I was very exited last year about Waugh Games who are supposed to be selling Graven Images, the ranges sculpted by the late Jim Bowen and some things by Kevin Adams, including never before released 28mm dark ages figs (oddly, still not on their site). I ordered a nice selection of figs early November and when half december I hadn't received them yet I mailed.
After a couple of mails I finally got a reply that forced me to justify that I didn't lose them myself or anything, but since I had payed I'd like to receive the goods.
Besides I receive miniatures and books from the UK and beyond all the time, several times a month at this adress so it's not my fault thank you.
They would send them again before christmas.

Now end of Februari I didn't receive anything and my mails are being ignored now.

I'm royally pissed off as I get the feeling they have decided I am lying or just don't give a damn. Probably they never even send anything a second time after I complained.
I'm more upset actually by the fact that I can't even get these Graven Images figs from anybody else.
If you don't believe in lead, you're already dead.

I'll see if they are at Hammerhead tomorrow and point them at this thread.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Some time before I ordered some Graven Image miniatures to Crann Tara Miniatures. He bought the masters since the death of the sculptor. The same story: I paid, I obtained nothing. And the vendor told me that he send me two times the miniatures! But I paid with PayPal, so I could bring back my money. After, Crann Tara gave the masters to his friend Hoka Hey Wargaming. I didn't order because I think that History tends to repeat itself. Now there is this Waugh Games and the same selling method. I understand: it is impossible to buy Graven Image miniatures.

I got some Graven Images Monolith stock from Cran Tara with no problems at all. Didn't know the three companies were related.

Hi,
just for clarity. I own Crann Tara Miniatures and I sold my share of the Graven Images business to Hoka Hey Wargames and Waugh Games last year to concentrate on the Crann Tara business.
I'm sorry some of you have had a bad experience but I just wish to make it clear that Crann Tara no longer has any responsibility for Graven Images.

Hi all,

I have purchased Graven Images from Hoka Hey Wargaming. I dealt with a guy called Allan, really helpful and couldn't fault the customer service. I made contact through the link below:-

I received the figs yesterday, with some extras. Really nice miniatures.

As I wrote above I had nothing but good experience with Crann Tara. My complaint had nothing to do with them, or Hoka Hey.

thanks all.

I am happy you received your figures area23.

I too have been waiting over 6 months for an order from Waugh Games and have just about given up. Buyer Beware!
