Looking forward to the new edition of 'Secrets...', so finally began to get some paint on Blitzkreig Models very nice Maus, still some way to go (decals, fading, streaking & chipping etc) but open to any sage advice.

Impressive! I really need to buy one of those. But what scale did you choose? 1/56 or 1/48?

When I finally get some money together, think I'm gonna go for the 1/48 myself.

I went 1/56 for mine - as my other vehicles are. It's a great model, but I did add a few things to represent a 'production model'; a commander's cupola, (as on late tiger 1's, Panther's & Tiger II's) rangefinder blisters & turned the pistol ports into larger blisters (influenced by the Dragon E100 kit).

Novel and interesting camo scheme. Given the size, wouldn't it be better disguised as the Reichstag or Mohne Dam?
