Any other advice, particularly with printers, inks and paper etc. I don't want all my hard work to turn into a smudgy blur at the first hint of moisture from glue or what have you.
I use a normal inkjet Printer and normal (80gm/m² paper). best not to use PVA type glues to stick the flags..it makes the ink run..Prittstick type glue is good.
Also..stick a small square of tinfoil to the inside of one half of the flag leaving a couple of mm around the tin foil square and the outer edge of the flag. It helps to form the flag so it Looks more natural..ie; as if it´s waving in the wind.
For touching up the edges of the flags when they are attached ( the sides that have been cut) I use felt tip pens, not the tips but I gently run the sides of the felt tip along the paper.
I´ve never had a Problem with moisture but a quick blast of hairspray will hold the ink if you´ve any worries about running/blurring
