Thank you Carlos that is kind of you to say, I have not painted for quite a while. I hope I can keep improving.

Plus I was at a complete loss as how to aproach Samurai and with lots of research I am getting more comfortable as I go on. I am still open to all comments and any advice ppl can offer good or bad

He is looking very good, I think your confidence with samurai is coming on very well, as its a skill in itself picking colours for samurai and know what different pieces of armour are made of.
I see you have decided to do the eyes, and although I don't like painting eyes on them and did not design the eyes to be painted, because I feel the figures look more realistic that way. I think the eyes have come out quite well on that one.
Keep it up I'm looking forward to seeing him finished

Thank you very much. As for the eyes, I never noticed, I have always put eyes on my figures, not eyebrows but always eyes. I may try the next one without eyes.

Was I missing anything on that one? I will most likely wait until I can get hold of some Ii Clan decals prior to completing the banner though.

He is looking really nice, I think you have got everything right.

My reason for not doing eyes is I think it makes them cartoony. If you highlight the eyelids and put ink in the eye sockets you get a reall good shadow.

However if you prefer the eyes that is the best way for you.

Hmmm you make a good point, in fact while looking at your images I was drawn to your avatar. You can see there it is the same priciple.
