Morphing scenario question

Unless I read it incorrectly, in the scenario with the 4 teleport spots (which send you to random spots), there is also treasure within each of the teleport areas. I'm not clear on how you access the treasure in an area that can instantly beam you away. Please clarify - thanks in advance!

You only teleport when you end a move on a portal, so you have to hope that you get teleported to the right spot, then you can grab it, or if you move onto a portal with treasure there's a 25% chance you'll stay where you are.

Alternatively, you can pick up treasure if you're within 1" of the token. Since the portals are only 2" across you should be able to stand on the edge, reach in and grab it.
