28mm Polish Militia new green suitable for both 18th and 19thC
« on: 18 September 2015, 09:58:54 PM »
A lovelly new miniature from Steve Barber ideal for The wars of Polish partition although this particular green is designed for the 19thC  Uprising of 1831. The miniature wears the traditional Sukmana coat, soft four cornered cap and soft boots. The coat could be off white, brown or blue either with black or red trim, colour of the coat often determined by the region.. The cap is decorated by a trio of Peacock feathers either tips as seen here or tall plumes, the cap could be decorated with ribbons attatched on the left side.
Most militia were armed with an axe and scythe or less commonly with musket, although independent units were raised so armed.

Very Nice
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
