I entered into my first painting competition ever a few weeks ago - the goal was to have everyone equipped with a painted warband for a Frostgrave campaign at the local Club sometime this Winter.
I threw together some old Bretonnian models and a single Simon de Montfort figure as a templar. To everyones surprise, including my own, I actually finished them in time (well, almost, anyway). This is how they came out:

The paintscheme is totally stolen from a blogpost I saw long ago for some other game, but I thought it fitted the setting quite well. The Templar-Knight is sort of a Hedge-knight type, and so does not bear the heraldry of the rest of the warband, being loyal to the cause only for as long as the religious masters behind the warband keeps paying him.
The wizard is the big guy with the red beard, an enchanter, and his apprentice is the small fat monk. I see him as sort of a medieval warrior mystic, mixing priestly skills with those of a shaman. The Enchanter-school seemed to fit the model the best.
