Simple Saga Warlord Sabot.... Say that three times fast......

Having already painted and based up a lot of Medieval minis for Lion Rampant I've now decided I want to use them for Saga as well. As they are singly based, not an issue, but I wanted my Warlords to look the part on larger bases. Digging through my bits box I found an old GW large plastic base of a suitable size. I used match-sticks to make a "frame" for the miniature's base and added a plastic tree to make it more like a miniature display stand.







I will probably do a couple more for my Russians and my Teutonic Bishop.

Thanks gents. I'm limiting myself to small projects at the moment to act as down-time when I'm not studying.
Hopefully after April I will get back into the swing and finally finish off all my Russians ( and Mongols).

Agreed, they were prevalent and necessary for the Teutonic military economy in the Baltic.

Be great to see the heraldry- one can never get enough heraldry!
