What minis for Nullmen ?
« on: 26 January 2016, 08:42:36 AM »
Hi, in Sellsword, the third scenario has just lit a creative spark in my mind. I really like the "Nullmen" idea, and the whole concept of Null. And I'm already planning on writing and testing a Null Campaign.

But I will need models for Nullmen. Anyone knows what I can use for them ? Thanks !

I like the look of these Ur Ghuls from 40k (but pretty expensive)

Or these things from Grekwood

What's the description of them? I don't have Sellsword yet.
"When to keep awake against the camel's swaying or the junk's rocking, you start summoning up your memories one by one, your wolf will have become another wolf, your sister a different sister, your battle other battles, on your return from Euphemia, the city where memory is traded." - Italo Calvino

Basically they're featureless humanoids.

What about using sculpting armatures? They are featureless humanoids.

I know Table Warfare do them (http://tablewarfare.com/28mm-armatures-for-sculpting-miniatures.htm) but I'm sure you could make them fairly easily.

Thanks for the ideas.
I don't want to go sculpting right now.

But I may have found what I want : http://www.cpmodelsminiatures.co.uk/28mm%20Grey%20Aliens.htm

A Little Grey Man. Featureless, strange, void-looking.

They would be perfect for the future predator from Primeval....

Sorry to hijack the thread.

How about ninja figures? They tend to be featureless
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

I thought about ninjas, but most come with weapons. And I prefer to avoid weapons for my nullmen.

You could also go extremely featureless and go for the armatures from Hasslefree...

Besides the four initial Nullmen, how many are required for the third scenario?

Haven't gotten the book yet, but from the looks of it, those faceless miscast minis I have lying around sound like an ideal fit.
