How about a sub-forum just for tutorials?
« on: December 10, 2008, 03:33:13 PM »
Since we now have a "What I painted in..." sub-forum, how about another one where all the tutorials could be placed? That way they'd be easily available without needing to make them Sticky.

Yes!! I have been thinking about that too. Like Captain Blood's great ECW fortification tutorial!

Yeah, any kind of step-by-step "How I built..." articles really, not just those strictly qualifying as "tutorials".

EDIT: And painting tutorials too, of course. Not just terrain building ones.

Hadn't considered the possibility of an uploadable article feature. I guess that if one of those is on the way, the subforum might be redundant. Then again if the article feature is a long way off, maybe a subforum could fill the gap for the time being. The threads collected there could later be turned into articles.

Good news! The Professor has in his gracious wisdom listened to our pleas and bestowed upon us a sub-board to Workbench called 'How to...', admined by me. I will make posts there sticky on suggestion. or whim.
