The Rocketman!
« on: January 16, 2009, 08:47:50 PM »
Hi, ladies and gentelmen, long time to me away of this forum, but for a good reason.
I was working in a green thats finally finished, and im glad to show you.

I hope this week or next Ill make copies (about 75 copies I think), and as soon as the copies are in my home, I will tell you where you can buy it if you want a copy ( and the price, of cuorse )

I will try to put the cheapest price i can, , just to cover production cost and make another mini if this one has good acceptance.

I must say, this mini is 33mm, not the clasical 28mm (most closer to rackham size)
Why? because I think 28mm isnt enought to make a well-proportioned body rich in details, and uses the same 25 mm round base, Therefore no afecct to game.

I really hope you like this mini, and you must know im thinking now in the next one.

One more time, sorry for mi poor english and see you ;)

Fantastic sculpt. Very nice. Pity about it being on the large size but it probably won't be that noticable on the table. Well done again. 8)

Superb. Very well executed. If I was being picky I would say he looks a little too thin but this was obviously intentional from your comments. Although I fully understand your opinions on the anatomy I think sometimes it is better, and perhaps more commercially sensible, to follow the flock. I would gladly paint one. Well done.

If he's large that's not a problem - he's a hero !

Awesome looking figure. Very impressive

Got to agree with Rudi. This is a beautiful piece, and you should be proud of it, but it's simply too large to go with any of the pulp ranges I currently collect. If you were to make him more in line with most of the Pulp ranges out there, in terms of size, I bet you'd probably increase interest. Either way, very well done.

Very nice. I like 32mm scale to, but I don't mix them with my 28mm, which I have more of.

Thx  a lot for all your coments.
Your opinons about the mini, and specially about the minis size are very important to me

I undestand you dont like the 32 mm size because is bigger than the other pulp minis you use, isn it?

I undestand when you say this  is commercially sensible, but i think ill still making 33mm pulp minis anyway ( and perhaps some busts) because this is the kind of pulp minis i would like to buy.

I hope you enlike this minis anyway ;)

Today I sent the green to production, and I hope copies will be ready in 15 days

Thx again for all you coments

Well, an artist must be allowed to choose his ways....

Very nice green, no matter the scale. If he casts up well, I might be tempted...
