Hello from Hertford

Hi there, I'm based in Hertford, UK ,painting 28mm  ECW,  war of the  roses and great  Italian wars mostly , does anyone know if there is a club nearby? I've heard that there might be one and I have  searched online but no luck so far, this seems a pleasant and reasonable forum and I look forward to contributing once I can get past my luddite tendancies with new technologies!

Assuming you do mean Hertford itself, not the county.

We are at Tring, which is too far for an evening, I know there are clubs in St Albans and Hitchin, but again, probably too far for an evening. I believe Hitchin do hold regular all-day games at weekends which might help you.

Hitchin also do a lot of events with other clubs, so it might be worth contacting them to see if they know anyone nearer to you. There is a contact for them here http://tablewarfare.com/black-wolf-wargames-club.htm

Yes Hertford, Hertfordshire, I will check out Hitchin, that's a good idea.

Actually I'm in Aylesbury but my club is in Tring!
