Mini Monsters Buildings
« on: 08 January 2016, 12:04:39 AM »
I am liking the Mini Monsters fantasy buildings coming down the pipe. The designs are bold and yet elegant. They seem to have a solid physical presence, be built for ease of assembly and playability and the cost seems reasonable (but shipping from Poland to US may affect that for me in particular). They have the details that count and refreshingly lack superfluous or creative additions that scream out as being just wrong and are frequently a deal killer for me.

Anyone have experience ordering from them and can you comment on the service and quality of castings?

Those do look nice.
So many games, so little time.

I got one of each building. Some I ordered from zealot miniatures others from the mini monsters eBay store. Shipping from Poland to US wasn't that bad for multiple items.

I'm really happy with them. They were easy to put together and make nice detail. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fantasy buildings

I have the guardtower, outhouse and some fences. I do think I bought everything from Zealot miniatures though. The casting quality is very good. I had a minimum of cleanup to do. They can be a bit fidly to assemble as there are no slots for assembling the walls. They just "bump" up against each other and you have to align them yourself and keep them that way until the glue has dried.

I have made and glued in some 90 degre wedges to help with that and to add some stability to the structure.

I would recommend them though they are great value for money.

Thanks to this thread I became aware about the existence of Mini Monsters products and ordered the watchtower. Received it today, very cleanly cast kit, perfect for my Westfalia Publishing halflings :)

The watchtower is the only one I had trouble putting together. The roof had some really big gaps that need filling.  Other then that it's awesome

I'm late here coming back to thank everyone for your really helpful comments. It's great to hear about the good experiences. Going to be moving soon but want to make an order as soon as I'm settled in.

I have been very happy with them. The only complaint I have so far is on the tavern they give you two dormor windows but there is not spot on the roof to put them in the shingles. So if you were to glue them on the roof it would look weird where it standing on top of shingles. A design flaw there, but otherwise very nice crisp resin structures

Oddly I'm more taken by the small bits...kinda want to order a bunch of barrels/chests/bags/etc.  I love me some detritus.
