Cityfighting in East Prussia 1945
« on: 29 March 2016, 08:58:53 PM »
Just some pictures of a game I had on display at Swedens largest con, Gothcon, last weekend.

The scenario was a soviet assault on the outskirts of a town held by german volksturm and reinforced by some heer troops. I used Bolt Action which worked really well, people picked up the rules fast and most people played almost by themselves after three rounds.

Anyway, on to the pictures!

That chipped gravel is very effective!

That looks amazing. Is the rubble just "sprinkled" on? Or is it glued in place?

This is 28mm, I guess, from loking at the figure style?

I too love your table, it's awesome.  Is the chipped gravel some kind of wargames/model product or a hardware/construction material?

Yes, 28mm!

It's actually made out of gravel intended for aquariums. I guess you could use normal gravel from outside but the aquarium gravel is washed before so not as much dust or dirt. Then I sprayed it with the same spray as I used as base colour for the houses to tie everything together.
