Back on the Anarchie Road
« on: March 31, 2016, 10:23:16 AM »
Decided to return to my long stalled Post-Apoc/Mad Max project, got a bit disillusioned with it all for a while, but having messed about with some other bits n bobs, I felt it was time to go back to this.

Working primarily in 1/50th/1/48th scale, I have a stack of plastic kits, and diecasts to hack about, and scratch around.
I will have to scratch all the bikes, as there is not much around in this scale, that I find suitable/useable.
I am putting together some basic engine blocks, which I intend to cast up, and then customise for individual vehicles, this saves me time.

Need to get back to Ian at Fenris Games, to see if he has managed to get my bike master into a mould yet, as I want a few to convert.

More pics as the project progresses, now its back to fiddling with plastic  Native Americans, need those WarBoy crews  :D

Very slick!

Love the bike and the roadster.  :-* :-*

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

If it helps Reaper has a bike in their chronoscope line.

And I do love what you have done with the Model A, a horrible car to drive but so iconic.

Thanks for the kind comments  :)

@Maspalio - Fenris has the model, and Ian hopes to get it cast up, and on sale. He has been snowed under with casting for a couple of big kick-starters, and this has delayed release of a few items

@Ilumini - The WarBoy models are a mix of bits from various plastic sets, a good starting point are the old Wargames Factory Woodland Indians, now sold by Warlord, plus the male survivor sprues, also worth checking out Celts, as the bare chested models are equally useable.
Depending on how far you want to take your models, a little bit of putty work to change the indian leggings to trousers will make them look a bit better. I will post some pics once I have finished putting all the rubbish on them  :D
