What I have learnt

I hate whites (can you tell?) - whatever I do next won't be white based
Army painter Strong Tone is my friend (except for above when it looks shite)
I am not a great painter, but I paint to game and they look OK at arms length so I am reasonably happy
However - I want to be a better painter (but that ain't going to happen so I'll just have to suck it up)
I am a pottering painter (or just plain lazy).  The odd figure now and then is fun - lots, not so much for me.  Good job I like skirmish games
I don't like deadlines
I need deadlines otherwise I sit around browsing forums
I should have cut the lawns instead of painting this weekend (that bit was my wife speaking)
If I lose my first game of Congo this week it will have all been in vain and bin Said is for the pot in a game of Pulp Alley 

Thanks for the encouragement - it's the first time I have logged a painting exercise and this helped push me along

God alone knows when I will get the 8 Askaris done
