That's just part of something.... and it's modified too.
Anyone remember the Bubblechukka or whatever it was called, shooting forcefield bubbles around the enemy to trap them inside?

Anyway, this one is stuck to a Stompa.

The annual archaeology fieldwork - 4 weeks in the sun, phew! - is over, and a new dig has begun. Although I'd found most of the orks I'll be using, I decided to start off with a handful of boyz and a vehicle, and it's a stolen one, so it needs converting. Hence the dig.

After a good bit of frustration I finally found what I wanted, or at least most of it, and the fun part will begin this week; which means I'm late already! At least I also found a pile of plastic gretchin and a boxful of orks who had been missing in action.

I have the test ork done, and a second one which was painted but had some changes to his colours.
I'm planning at least 4 more (and others if time permits) plus the vehicle - not to mention it's pilot.

I have those Orks too, Around 5 painted back in 1995.. Not wery fun models..

But this Battlewagon of yours is a blast! - Repair it!

Oh dear, things started badly.

Forces completed:

The one to the left is an old ork touched up and improved, so he barely counts.
The one to the right is one of my 'yellorks' - orks who have been thrashed by the Imperial Fists who they now see as best enemies and who they emulate by trying to be yellower than they are, to the point of getting a Skorcha converted into a yellow paint cannon vehicle, to paint the army before a battle - an excuse to get a very fast painting scheme.... maybe I overdid it 




This conversion was to have been completed this month too, but as you can see....



On to August, when I have to complete two months' worth....er....

Looking forward to seeing where this is going. 2nd edition Orks were pretty cool and Gorka Morka stuff is always nice to see. Not a big 40k fan myself but your project looks like a nice nostalgia hit from when I was a kid.
