Persian query

I've been steadily working my way through era-relevant material and as I'm sucked deeper and deeper I've been looking at Persia.

So far I'm aware of the Persian Cossack Guard, the Swedish gendarmerie, assorted tribes and the South Persia Rifles, which seem like as colourful a mix as one could hope for to throw together for the Back of Beyond. Does anyone have any material specifically on the Persian army of the period? I'd love to know more!

I made a reconstruction of the uniform of one of the regiments of the Azerbaijan Red Army, which in 1920-21 was fought in a Persia on the side of the Persian Red Army.

Cuprum - you have really done it this time! I had no desire or intention of doing any Persians but the uniform plate of the Red Persian regt is just too wonderful to resist!

It will be interesting to look at the photo of the finished figure.
Keep in mind that budёnnovka (cap) has been stitched from black leather.
