Interwar/WW2 Kriegsmarine Infantry Units
« on: 19 August 2016, 09:25:07 PM »
For my first (non-vehicle) foray into German WW2 forces, I tried my hand at German Kriegsmarine. In addition to their naval operations, Kriegsmarine infantry units took part in land operations from Danzig, Narvik, the Channel Islands, to the final defense of Germany itself. This is the full line of Tsuba Miniatures' "Red Sailors" and they are absolutely beautiful miniatures, well worth the money.

They look good, I guess they're another one for the shopping list.

Very nice.  :o

I've often contemplated using them to add to my small Kriegmarine force but wasn't sure how they would look, I have a small force using Artizan thrilling tales U-boat grew and some Brigade (well at lest I think they are) WW1 German sailors (a lucky buy from E bay).

I can see the Tsuba ones being added at some point.

Wow!

you have done a fine job on those! I wonder how they will look together with the Warlord Kriegsmarine?

They should scale well with Warlord Germans. Probably a little slight/small for use with the Artizan Grey Wolves. My friend has them and I'll try to get a comparison shot next time we game.

Using these as part of a Budapest/Berlin '44-45 force with Warlord Last Levy and re-purposed Footsore VBCW as University Assault Battalion/Volkssturm which they scale very well with
