London War room website down?
« on: February 03, 2009, 01:51:57 AM »
Hello all,

I am having difficulty with The London War room website, it seems to be down. Anyone know what's happening with them?

cheers
Neil
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

TMP's Problem Links (http://theminiaturespage.com/statistics/links/) says it's been down for four weeks.

Things are in the process of changing for The London War Room. I think they should be announcing something in the next couple of weeks.

The last announcement made said that they were "Working on the website". Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a change of something big on the horizon. The last few orders we made from them were filled very slowly, and customer service was not at all up to their usual standard. Hopefully one way or another some of their best lines will continue. It's unfortunate that Parroom Station has been hard to get because of this outage, too.

I've always been put off by that website. Horribly designed.

You want to see a badly designed website, check out Museum miniatures! Its a pity because their stuff is really good too.

I hope I can still get the Paroom stuff, been eyeing off the Japanese for a while now. :)

If you get desperate I've got some Japanese going spare, just drop me a PM.

London War Room hasn't been up to par for a while so any improvement would be greatly welcomed.
Don't!

They have some nice 28mm samurai though, and the service is good.
