French Mule drawn Ambulance 1889 model (Colonial & WWI)
« on: 13 October 2014, 08:59:31 PM »
Making steady progress on a 28mm mule drawn Ambulance, based on the 1889 model, used in North Africa and on the fronts in WWI

Chassis, sides, roof & wheels are now complete, I'm just finishing of the axel and the springs whilst  Ian is adding the harness to the mules.

The mules can be seen here. There will also be 4 figures to go with them to make a vignette for the French Foreign Legion in North Africa. Will post an update on these, however have just commissioned a 'Caporal Medic'

Once complete Mike @ BlackHat miniatures will be stocking these.

Kind Regards
Mark

I could use that in the Old West.

The ambulance is complete and cast, will be released in September 2016, along with a pack of injured French Foreign Legionnaires...

The model is all cast in white metal and the ambulance is 55x55x45mm.
