Database of miniatures companies

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this (apologies if it is not), but we have recently been putting together the final touches of an online database of miniatures manufacturers and retailers.

I came up the idea of having a place where you can search for manufacturers of miniatures that scratch a particular itch (for example spaceships, conversion parts for 28mm sci-fi, etc) after opening my fairly hefty list of bookmarks for about the 10 millionth time. trying to remember which manufacturer produced which range was just proving nightmarish and it inevitably ended up reading (or posting on) forums to find other people's recommendations.

The site allows you to search for manufacturers based on multiple keywords (as mentioned above) and gives you a list of the closest matching results in our database, which should make it a lot easier for you to find companies that can scratch your particular itch.

Visitors can also review and comment on manufacturers (and it would be great if people could do this, though it does require setting up an account) so we can hopefully get a good idea of the quality of a manufacturer and their products.

I noticed a couple of companies missing from your site. Pulp Miniatures & Company B, both have a bit of a following here. Also the site is a little hard to navigate. Perhaps break it up alphabeticly so one doesn't end up back at the top each time you back up after looking at a reference page.

Cheers for the update, I have added Pulp Figures and Company B to the database.

We are aware of the issue you mentioned regarding going back to your search results after visiting a retailer. We have a fix in mind for it, we just need a bit of time to get it implemented (you are right, it is a little annoying).
