My take on the massive ECW game played with Melnibonean a few weeks ago...

Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

Now I know what happened on our (royalist) right.
In such a big battle, being on the other flank at the other end of three tables and being totally immersed your own game really does create it very own Fog of War.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

In these big battles I feel it would be perfectly okay to run independent turns. That way you may get events progressing more quickly in one area compared to another. This may better reflect an actual battle.
