Looking for a Castle mat
« on: 19 February 2017, 06:42:47 PM »
Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone makes a good gaming mat of a castle?
Looking to use it for a weird World War II type game. Any other ideas
for what I could use would be gratefully accepted.

How about Dramascape through RPG Drivethrough?

They have a wide range of printable maps in all genres and styles, blank, or with hex or square overlay. Good value for money and if you want it printed professionally, take the file to a print shop...

Here's an example, but they have many castles available:

Frozen Fortress
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

What scale/size?  The Conan board game ships with a fold-out board which includes a castle map.

Elbows,

I will be using the Gotterdamerung figures that are around 40mm.
However, a 28mm map I could make work.

Would second Dramascape.  You have to print it yourself, so you could scale up if you wanted.  They have loads of different "maps".

If you don't want to print them yourself, Paizo, Privateer Press and Wizard of the Coast should have mats like these with various designs. Also many smaller third-party manufacturers.
