I wonder what kind of items there will be for the Nickstarter.

This was on their FB page,  "Frostgrave Ulterior Motives. The Nickstarter begins Monday. This Nickstarter is different to our previous campaigns, we're not giving anything away! But we're offering you some 'once in a lifetime' prizes instead. Pop by Monday to find out more."

edit: Looks like there is a terrain pack to go along with the cards.

The Nickstarter has begun (http://nstarmagazine.com/ULTERIOR_MOTIVES.htm), and while there isn't the same range of new figures or freebies for this one, there are some very exclusive prizes up for grabs...

The Nickstarter's open for just two weeks, while the human body can supposedly sustain itself without food for about three weeks. Just sayin'...

Debating whether to get the cards or the scenery as well - have some similar bits and could make my own, but will I actually?
Liking the look of the prizes though, great idea.

Here's my first take on Ulterior Motives:

https://thelostcityofcarcosa.com/2017/06/02/fg-ulterior-motives-review/

The two of the forty two:

Looks like a very interesting set of spins on the scenarios and so on, that definitely harks back to the original Rogue Trader (WH40K) scenario tables.
Wandering stars, for whom is reserved, the blackness, the darkness forever.

Got my set the other day *happy dance*.
I agree with Giles' assessment that the cards provide some great and imaginative challenges and I love the idea of using a standard set of terrain to use as objectives and/or red herrings. Bravo Joe and Osprey!
I do wonder if they'd complicate some of the more challenging scenarios in the books, but I can imagine, say, the Worm Hunt scenario really taking off with the cards.
I think using them in multiplayer games could also make things tricky, unless each player has his/her own set of terrain.
But all-in-all a great expansion!
