YES!  That was EXACTLY the idea.
The bruisers in The Others are color-coded red.
While looking at Thorley I noticed a certain resemblances to Hellboy, so why not paint him red, give him some tattoos as an homage to the original artwork and call it a good idea!

Always a very rewarding feeling if the unsuspecting viewer gets the idea behind the mini! Again, big thanks...
