Moving forwards in time with Blood Eagle

The current rules cover the period from about 800CE to 1015CE, but because of the weapons and armour we have provided in the book can actually be stretched from 500CE to 1066CE.

To help players who want to be able to use the rules in the period 1066CE to 1350CE we have just uploaded a table to allow you to field figures in what we are calling ‘Reinforced Mail’.



This armour can include mail sleeves or leggings and, small plate reinforcements to shoulders and knee/elbow joints. The mail coif is now listed as being equivalent as a light helm. None of this is cheap and should really be restricted to leaders, knights and the crusading orders.
