What a titanic battle :)

Great work gents.

a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

This is a tough one. Almost down to a coin toss, but I finally made a decision.  Great work gents!

Excellent work Alex, great colours and spot on highlights. The writing on the big clowns shirt is excellent, I thought I'd get slaughtered  ;D

I am also surprised! I think the painting in the entries is of the same level. The one just has more figures, scenery and so on...

But maybe, despite the plain backdrop, you just hit the perfect spot Bugsda.  :)

It's the battle of the Plaka paint specialists! ;)
(You two are the only ones I know who regularly use the stuff :))

I do agree Chris, your adventurers are doing amazingly well. I thought The Prof would squish you with another of his marvellous scenes.
Just goes to show that it's perfectly possible for a well painted team on a plain background to hold its own against a dioramic entry. Which, as we know, is always a popular topic of debate every single LPL ::)
The current state of this match pretty much demonstrates that if the painting is good enough, then the backdrop / setting isn't really the deciding factor.
Or not always, anyway.

Good luck to both of you in the remainder of the match. They are both excellent entries  8)

Another really tough one!
Outstanding painting and a wonderfully composed scene on the one hand and top notch painting and a focus on the essential on the other.
