Saxons Invade Ednasforde

Some pics from a couple of games using a modified version of Neil Thomas's One Hour Wargames, Dark Ages rules.
Two games using scenarios from the book, in two hours.
First as a win for the British forces of Baldinus and the second a win for the Saxon invaders, lead by the fearsome Penda Fudd.

Wargaming as it should be. Fully basesd and painted armies, representing what they are without having to explain who is what in a very natural setting, both table and scenery.

(Have been working on rather a lot of them myself recently, and they'll be in the LPL once I've worked my way through the Western Desert!)
