Atomic Cafe 1957 from Brigade Games
« on: March 09, 2009, 04:45:48 PM »
I am writing this game for Brigade Games (due out this summer). If you are going to be at Cold Wars in Lancaster, PA this weekend, you can check them out as we run a demo game on Saturday night.

The rules are for 28mm figures set in a post apocalytic 1950s. Think of them as West Side Story meets The Road Warrior.  :D All your favorite 1950s B-Move fun will be there as well

Sounds promising, will there be 1950s civilians?

There are lots of miniatures in the works. A greaser gang and a renegade military unit are first up.

But more to follow.

Oh man... all I need is another miniature game to get interested in...

Sounds like a fun concept!

Oh this is supper sweet, is it going to fallow the reguler 45. adventers format?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

No, though some of my game design traits may slip through. As this is being developed for Brigade Games, they wanted a set of skirmish level rules for gangs. So, the rules are more squad based than individual based (though there are leader and hero types --- oh, and Brutes!)

The first two miniature sets are the 8th Avenue Greasers and a rogue military unit. This summer Brigade will add the Michigan State Bowlers League.

The full rules will be out for Historicon.

The rules are designed for fast play. Very deadly. Lots of mayhem.

And of course, fast cars!

Rockabillypocalypse!

Loot will definitely be a big part of the game. Food and fuel being the primary necessities.
