We were brainstorming some gang ideas this weekend. Scots were already on the list, but one idea that was pitched for them is to have them wear letterman sweaters with no shirts underneath, very tight pants and call them the Midwest Collegiate Spartans. Their leader would be Leo Nidas.

I'm liking the sound of this project very much so. Also, thanks for the movie links, v_lazy_dragon. I didn't know about the Atomic rifle. Sounds like something to add to the 'list of notable doodads' ;).
Everything is better with lizardmen.

You know those new clowns released by Moonfleet Miniatures would make an excellent Atomic Cafe gang come to think of it...

You should have a gang based on the Clown Gang from The Warriors. That would be righteous....

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...

Aah. Now. The Warriors. There's a setting that deserves a whole game of it's own.

You gotta love 50's nuclear science:

-> another on the atomic cannon
-> a bit later, but still the same sort of idea

Its great as I can finaly use almost all my Pulp, WWW2 & some of my PA stuff together... its like someone decided to mix up my dreams!

Perhaps an addon book with rules for death robots, powered armour, and other fallout esque stuff might be the way to go if you want to keep the original release idea 'clean'?

Also, will there be figures for some of those Pesky Commies? Soviets & Chinese? (If not, anyone know of any good stand-ins? 1st corps do some Korean war stuff, but thats about all I can think of, as I imagine WW2 stuff would be a bit early...)

The only way to get enamel paint and varnish off your minatures....nuke 'em!

How about a technocratic rogue organisation based out of Area 51? No aliens or anything, just weird (pseudo)science.

How about a space worshipping cult that carries a palanquin with a monkey in a space suit?

Ooops! Did I say that out loud. :)

Now that sounds fun. And if you give that job to anyone else I will never work for Lon again. Hows about escaped comedy Nazis that have worked there way up from South America?.

The chimp may or may not be alive. Ultimately it is of no importance. As the messenger of the gods, his mortal form is merely a vessel for his awesome power, the power of the Sky God Nasa.

The game looked awesome and the figures are a total hoot.
