Who makes a good crackpot Cleric?
« on: April 25, 2017, 04:01:45 PM »
I'm after a 28mm figure of a Muslim Holy bloke waving his Koran about an beseeching Allah to help smite the Infidel! The type of bloke you perch on a rock behind your brethren, shouting and bawling, to work them up to fever pitch... who makes a good 'un?

:)

I have one in a North African-style full-face veil, both arms raised to heaven. He's pretty nifty. I want to say he's Gripping Beast, but I'm not 100% on that.

As African Al says, that mounted cleric from the Perry Sudan range is quite cool, brandishing a sword and what looks like a jumbo sausage roll (though given he's a Muslim cleric that's probably not what it is). Even though he's from a 19th Century range I don't think there's anything glaring about him that would prohibit his use in a medieval game.

Edit: Confirmed as Gripping Beast. The Imam from the Moorish* infantry range.

Thanks for that chaps, plenty of options there but I'm really drawn to this bloke, he looks like he's wired direct to Allah's Magic garden...
