1912 Model A Truck Project
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:42:39 PM »
Stumbled across a 1:24th scale model T delivery truck at Big Lots store for 4$. The model is die cast and should provide me with the measurements that I need to shrink it down to 1:48th scale size or a size compatable with my 28mm pulp figures I am collecting. Also working on the shape of the bed to allow differing shapes to be put on it should make for a variety of trucks. Anyway, wood blocks should be meeting belt sander soon.

Updates as they happen.

Big Lots is a great place to shop. I have gotten quite a few bargains there.

Got the measurments I needed, going to the belt sander tommorow and rough out some of the parts, though I did have to take the scale down to 1:60 for proper scale.  Just have to avoid the fingers vs belt and hope to see some good progress.
