Great paint job. i agree the Victrix Greeks do look a bit static and anything that makes them more dynamic is great news. Look forward to seeing them for sale sometime very soon :- )

Here's some quick iPhone snaps of the heads and the mold layout. I'm currently shopping around for a caster...

Fantastic work there!

I especially like the guy with the non-round shield (is that an dipylon?) and your color selection for him.

Hey they look promising, best of luck finding a good caster for them and the arms of course.

Thanks all. New mold maker and caster secured so if the heads work out well I'll get the arms done next...

The blue one looks like a marine officer. The red one needs some white to contrast. Otherwise I like them all.

Some years ago I painted up 350+ OG hoplites, but after seeing some of the newer sculpts, one day I may replace them.

Thanks all!

The head mold and the first ten casts are perfect... really impressed. This weekend I'll clean up the arm masters then get them off for mold making. Aiming to have the heads and arms available to purchase in around 4 weeks or so.
