Rayguns & Rocketships

"An inventive dual-scale miniatures board game for 2-4 players that takes place in the golden-age of Sci-Fi space operas."

I think this game looks interesting. I always wanted to play a game with boarding attacks on enemy spaceships.

The theme is pretty niche, but I figure someone else around here may find it of interest.  Plus, the miniatures and game tiles could be of use for other games.

I'm not involved in the KS other than being one of the backers.

Looks fun, although it looks a lot like Space Cadets Away missions:

I like the character design.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that one.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

I have it actually.  Got it from a local company closing shop :'(

A lot of set up but really fun.  Comes with like 91 miniatures!

Really?  Have you seen Battlestations from Gorilla Games?

Been around for ages now and that's pretty much exactly what it does.  Integrated space combat and boarding actions, with a strong splash of light roleplaying/character advancement thrown in.  It's even got a kind of camp retro-scifi feel to it.  More TOS Star Trek than Flash Gordon, but still retro.

I had seen that game a while back, but it seemed more like an RPG than a board game.  The presentation is also a bit lacking in that one.  It would require a bit of an investment in minis and terrain to make it look good.  Still, I may give it a second look now that you remind of it.

I hadn't heard of that one. Looks interesting, might be fun to do up with Hirst Arts. I could tack it to my Space Hulk :)

I'm tempted by Pegasus Lunar Spacecraft--if only it were bigger than 144th scale.

Well I decided to back this one. I like the looks of it, and there's not hundreds of figures to paint.

The stretch goals are starting to pile up, making a pledge more worthwhile.
