Weasel -- those poses are great. I love how they are all hunched over, as if crouching to avoid the hail of lead headed their way. Awesome job on their skin tones and clothes!

Angst: nice, crisp lines on the painting. They look nice...

I love the use of the Perry plastic Mahdists. They work so well in that red. Very creative and unusual  8)

Skip, well done on pushing through with what must now be an entire Space Marine army! You have made great use of the LPL to help build a force fast!  :)

Thanks, I  am eagerly anticipating the contest being over so I can post group shots.  Three more weeks.  I might get done with the stragglers and finish another tank or two.  Of course since turning in everything I have been grinding on terrain, Sigmar stuff, scatter pieces, good terrain, junk terrain.  Summer vacation starts in three days and the shop needs terrain.

Also mikedemana, thanks for the continued kind words.

Haha me too, for that and other reasons. I need to finish my Royal Navy Lieutenant's coat in time for a ball next week, and apparently painting and sewing time both come from the same budget  ;D

Also, it has been great to watch your army grow. Kind of wish I'd had the same focus instead of painting bits of disparate sets. Also, your photography and staging are getting to be quite good. Will we get to see some of your tanks this competition? (I know... spoilers...)

I cannot agree more. If there was a sportsmanship award within the league i would cry foul play if it didn't go to you, mikedamana! And, yeah, I was going for the "advancing under fire" look. :)

And thanks Captain! I'm quite chuffed you like them. I chose the red clothes since I plan on using them as East Africans, and from my travels, red is a very popular color for traditional costume in Kenya.

Tanks may be a thing, 2 days until week 9, and 9 until week 10.  We shall see.  :)
