To add insult to injury a Wagon Train and Iron Horse are about to invade the Great Plains. I'm suspicioned the the bronze, painted savages will take a very dim view of proceedings...

Harry, I want to be like you when I grow up.

Struggling for words here, but I can say that's impressive. Great fun spotting the Deetails, the Timpos, and admiring the other makes I don't recognize. There is something about the Day-Glow colours of the Timpo buildings that always makes me smile. Absolutely love 'em!

Any idea who makes (made) those lovely buffalos of yours? I'd love to get my hands on some of those. Also, do you happen to know of a source for various varmints for this scale? I'm especially looking for a Grizzly and mountain lion. Not sure, but I suspect Schleich and Papo are going to be too big. Irregular metals might do in a pinch, but I'd especially love something in pre-painted plastic if there is such a thing.

Thanks for sharing!

Harry, I want to be like you when I grow up.

That's easy mate... just don't grow up!
The Buffalos are made by Britains, the early ones are very solid heavy beasties with red eyes, in the mid seventies they revamped 'em... look the same but much lighter. As for varmints, vultures, grizzlies, mountain lions and eagles (like the one perched on the Prairie Rocket's tender) can all be found on evilbay, they're Britains and Crescent models.
Native Americans... wot the bleedin' 'ell's that crap all about? Here's the Red Indians!!!
