Test game, General d'Armee rules.
« on: May 25, 2017, 03:23:12 PM »
I have just touched on the game mechanics but you can find a write up of a small solo game testing out these much anticipated set of rules here:

Meanwhile some pretty pictures of the game:

Only the first play through but so far so good.
I like em!

Thanks, enjoyed your pictures. Good to see the system working with just a couple of brigades.

Interesting review - just bought them myself in my never ending quest for rules that take my fancy.

Also Dave, I like your terrain mat, thought they were tiles to start but I think it is actually a gridded mat ?

cheers
Mark

60cm x 60cm squares Gustav,

They have a great variety and will do any grid size or shape you want on request. Not cheap though but worth it.

I've just started testing the rules too and I am liking the flavour and all the ADC choices. Also, the Table of Contents is excellent and the step by step instructions for each action are logical and easy to follow. So far, so good.
Prof Challenger, I presume?

Thanks for the info Dave - will put them on the list!
I also just have the pdf of GDA - it is looking rather good.  Must try and get a test game in at some point myself.

cheers
Mark
