@ Bren:
Many thanks, glad you like them. I think you should
definitely dig out your 10mm Elves and start a thread here - this scale is a lot of fun!

@ fred:
I've been trying a few things out in terms getting models on bases neatly, and I've had a few ideas for different sorts of units; I guess I'll see how well I thought them through when it comes to painting them though. If I can get models primed this week (i.e., wet/humid weather permitting), I should have some more to show very soon - I'm really champing at the bit to get stuck in with the next unit.

In other 10mm fantasy news, also received some Eureka models from Fighting 15s here in the UK today (ordered on bank holiday Monday, here on Wednesday the same week - very impressive!

).
So, reviewing my little haul today, it looks like there are going to be some more woodland creatures in this elf army. I got a pack of treemen to use as Forest Herders, and they are giant-sized... Getting them onto a 20mm base will be tough!

I also got dome dryads, dogs, and a "Forest Hunter" who is large infantry, and they look so cool that they may just jump the painting queue.

Finally, I got some elves with two-handed weapons, and I'm delighted with how well they scale against the Pendraken and Kallistra stuff.
