Greetings, Samu!

Love your figures both here and on the Firelock website.

The mat looks cool, but I am even enjoying the flora. The weedy looking mid-sized plants are very useful. Where did you get them and the trees?

Thanks.

Olofeus, is that a 4x4 mat or a 4x6 mat?  Trying to decide what size to buy!

That is a 4x4 mat. I have got a matching grass and sea mat to go with the beach

Well the Kickstarter is over, but it gave me a boost to get the rest of my Spaniards (among a few other things) painted.

De Pardal & another Spanish commander

Rest of the Lanceros

Militia

L'Olonnais with The Howard Pyle -style miniature

With these guys ready I've got only few Freebooters, Filibuistiers, Boucaniers and two ships to paint. I think I can manage these before my next pledge arrives.
I have to admit that at first the 3d sculpted miniatures didn't really appeal to my tastes, but after painting a few, I have to confess that I really like painting them. And they look quite nice painted, don't they.
Kiitos ja moi!

They are excellent sculpts!  :-*
And your paintjob has given them life!
Congratulations! Especially for the eyes, cloth shading, gilded parts... What else to say?
I wish you have many enjoyable games with them!
Keep them coming!

Well painted. Love your figures and setup.
I have a ton of Foundry pirates, but I like the look of the Firelock guys.
So have picked some up.
They are larger and don't plan to use them mixed in the same units.
But on the table they will be fine.
Their ships are excellent and am painting the sloop, love it.

Thanks for the kind words.

I think I'm in a painting spree (That's what the holidays are for!)
I painted this Brigandine yesterday. I know I should have paid more attention to the wooden parts an details. I've still got difficulties in painting large areas. The only way I know to do those is drybrushing. Nevertheless I'm quite pleased how it turned out.
Also it was much easier to do the rigging to this ship than my first one. This time I made the sails beforehand and used 0.5mm wire in the folds, so the sails would keep in shape. So I only needed to sow these sails to their places this morning.

That's a beautiful brig - nice work.

I stiffened the sails on my sloop with watered down pva.
