Wotcha reckon?

(I'll write a small review tonight, i'm just in a hurry right now)

These are just 15-20min paintjobs, first time using tamiya clear red.
These were made from one whole sprue

Nice work for such quick paints. I have a bottle of Clear Red myself, but haven't used it yet. I look forward to your review. Thanks for the pics, especially. I haven't seen very many of completed zeds from this sprue yet.

Looks decent, good enough for such quick paintjobs. I'd go a bit easier with the TCR though, the blood almost looks pink in some places. Also, I find it looks a bit better if you mix the TCR with some black, don't mix it very well so it looks lumpy 8)

Cheers guys, I'm certainly not the best painter around and these are far from my best painted models, but hey, they're zombies.

There isn't much more i can say about these that hasn't been said, but they are definitely "true" 28s, they're hands and heads are smaller than most. (I don't see why wargames factory would differ their proportions between sets)

The TCR isn't that pink in real life, it's more the photos, even if i do tend to get a bit carried away. I just tried small dabs of terracotta paint before spraying with TCR and it does look better, cheers.

EDIT: I definitely need to put a basketball in the black guys left hand

Hmm jury is still out. Looks ok - but I just can't get my head around what it is that I don't like.

Short legs, at least that's what's bugging me a bit.

Three more:

I haven't seen very many of completed zeds from this sprue yet.

Yes! There is a strange lack of pictures of WF stuff around, even on their website and forum ???

I agree the figs aren't the best around, but for what i need they'll do just fine.

Nice conversions, didn't think about making crwaling zombies and the like yet. Someone else also mentioned the idea to use parts from the zombie sprue to make casualty and wounded models and I might have to try that as well.

I would like to paint more of them zombies, but at the moment I have some other projects which have priority(the LPL for instance). But the entries for the first few rounds are almost finished, so maybe I can do a zombie hoard for one of the later rounds :)

Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

That was my main reason for buying them. I have made two corpses so far. Though they need to have some areas filled in with putty.

I bought myself some and think they are brilliant ;D,they are perfect for conversions and i am planning building up some "Necromorphs" from "DEAD SPACE" with them.As a basis for conversion work they are great and as a basic horde zombies they are brilliant ;D.
About time some one did something like this, the ideas and modelling potential are outstanding, sure they are a little rough, nothing abit of work will not fix!!.

Thanks for the photos Blackstatic, pukka stuff :D

Yeah very happy with them,HUSSAR HUSSAR HUSSAR !!

cheers all your local batman,

I haven't bought my share, yet, as I have almost no time for the hobby at the moment - but I DO think that for making a horde you don't get much better value for money. Don't use these if you play games with just a handful of the living dead, there's a lot of more characterful minis out there for that - but for games with a hundred or more zeds, I'd go for these to fill up the ranks any time! And I'm going to, as soon as I fin d a job closer to home....  ;)

It's the 'realistic' proportions that does it.... smaller hands and heads than normally seen on especially 'heroic' 28 mm minis... (I also agree, they have slightly shortish legs, but noone notices when they  com shambling along, anyway ;)  )
