my latest train
« on: June 05, 2017, 06:42:45 PM »
made from the Teamsterz sets

the track is ON30 , it sits over rather than on the rails , but I am happy with the end look, so it will stay like that.
Cheers

What is the actual gauge of the model?

The last pic was fantastic! Cinema-like! Congrats for the painting and the setup!

It's a toy train so does not have a railway modeller gauge as such .. it says on the box the scale is 1/55th for what that's worth

Without modifications the wheels site just over 16.5mm gap rails (00 or On30.  I use ON30 as it looks better as has bigger sleepers and gaps) . They could be modified to sit on the rails , but I did not think worth the effort as it looked ok overall to me sitting over the rails , after all it's a wargmers train not a fine scale railroad effort
