RIP Adam West
« on: June 11, 2017, 04:52:19 AM »

Certainly a huge reason I've had a livelong love of Batman, superheroes, and comic books.

Adam West was 88, an icon of pop culture, and from things I've read, a helluva nice guy.

Adam West has been a favourite since I was a little kid; from Batman though to Family Guy and The Big Bang Theory he was always worth watching. Mayor Adam West was easily one of the best characters on Family Guy. It'd be great if someone would do a tribute Mayor West figure.

Adam West was the reason I started to be fascinated by Super Heroes and comics. I remember how much fun my sister and me had when we were allowed as very young kids to watch "Batman hält die Welt in Atem".  It had surprisingly won the telefon vote during the summer weeks ("Wunschfilm") against two contenders and thus was shown on prime time telly. Yes, that was acceptable in the 80s.

RIP Adam.

A great Batman and still hilarious till recently as Mayor Adam West in Family Guy, where he consistently stole the show

It's sad, my moniker is from a character He played on Batman The Animated Adventures.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

:'( I also grew up watching that show!

Unfortunately more and more of these older celebrities are going to do the same thing, well that and our older friends and family as well! :(
