@fluffy05: Any time and I will! :D Especially since I'm pretty sure we've crossed paths quite a few times now. Could it be that you posted on Druchii.net? Somehow I got a mental image of your username on there.

Could have been?  I'm sure I've hit you up with painting questions before.

Have not painted regularly for a long time and am just starting to learn how to paint all over again - lol

@OSHIROmodels: Cheers!

@Ultravanillasmurf: Thanks very much.

@Andym: :D Thanks, Sir!

@fluffy05: Oh, right. Sure, no problem. Do you have a thread on here where you post your stuff?

@Gitsplitta: :D I really appreciate that. Comparatively small events across the Atlantic, and still you take the time to look through the reports!

Tomorrow I'll show a friend how to play Last Days (the zombies game I recently got). Looking forward to that. Do you have any mini gaming planned for the Easter weekend?

Hi!
You know I'm following other works of yours, but here I can't restrain myself from putting many exclamation marks!

@DintheDin: :D Always a pleasure to see you reply, Sir!(!!!)

@aliensurfer: Cheers. :)

Okay, let's not lose any time, there's too much to do. On to Space Orks! Those are still a bit WIP. Need some weathering, bases done and final check-up:

Slugga Boyz:

Kommandoz:

...and here's an earlier WIP of a mob of Tank Huntaz:

As with previous units I do for this project (it's a pretty darned big Orks army I've been working on in batches since late 2017) I can't take credit for the remarkable builds. A LOT of thought goes into these to make each of the Boyz unique. None of the guys looks like another via clever conversions, use of resin parts, a bit of sculpting, and a mix of the above. Especially the Tank Huntaz again feature a ton of subtle conversions to keep a varied look about them. Then I slap on variants of the colour scheme onto every one of them and we end up with a huge force of individuals. As Orks should be, even if they're Goffs!

Well, happy weekend! What are we all up to? Had a smashing time last night playing Zelda2 (with someone who'd never played it before. Very entertaining.). Tonight I'm going to play Blackstone Fortress, which I'm sure will be fun as well. Virago took the time and painted the whole set, so it would be rude not to. ;)

In terms of painting I'm still slaving away at the Ork tank hunterz. Here's another WIP shot:

full size image: https://www.tabletopwelt.de/uploads/monthly_2019_04/thwip2schrit.jpg.e5ae6d404cbed82fd6fbe2bb79f75ad0.jpg

I've said it before - I'm just the painter in this case, and it's remarkable how much work the guy who built these puts into it. Each and every single Ork is different by use of subtle conversions. Also means that each of the buggers has details and details hidden away on their person, especially on these bloody backpacks. :D Takes ages. But they're cool figures. I just hope that I haven't overdone it with the reds, but I'll leave that to boss to decide.

Hope you like the boyz so far and do have a nice weekend!

Loving those Space Orks. Perfect  skin tone too, very plant like. But, my goodness, there are rather a lot of them aren’t there!

@Grumbledook: Thanks very much. :) I really like them too. I had those with me at Vienna Fantasy Gaming Convention (the gentleman I painted these for let me keep them a bit longer). When I got them out to put them in the showcase I caught myself thinking "wow, those look really cool".  lol

Well, I'm back to doing one of those chaps...

Third 40k-sized Warhound I'm doing, second one I'm building. Always quite a ride. :D

These reds are that make all the other colors pop, but I also like your many shades of greens, highlighting perfectly their musculature!
Awesome boyz!

I am always impressed to see how much quality you are able to achieve on such a vast number of models. You should make a video tutorial and get Patron. You turn out so much remarkable stuff and you have an unique style. I think  a lot of people would be interested in your way of doing things hobby wise. A YouTube channel would also help to promote your commission business. Okay enough of unasked business advise  ::)

Great to see an update  :)
