Why are the integral bases so thick?  Is that just part of a prototype process or something?

These are the 3-ups, and while I'm sure there is a technical reason for the bases being that thick at this stage, all I know is that the end result will be much, much thinner!

That's what I figured, since the bases as-is, by proportion, are glaringly thick.  I just seem to recall other 3-ups having thinner bases.  Thanks for confirming.

In any event, I like the sculpts, and it's nice to see some old-school, generic fantasy goblins in chainmail.  All of this originality for the sake of originality has been killing me.
