Size Comparisons - Hellenistic ship types
« on: June 29, 2017, 10:54:54 PM »
Can anybody point me in the direction of some good reference material, so I can get some idea of how the different types of ships used In hellenistic naval warfare, compare sizewise.
Want to scratch build some 1/300th models for games, but so far have not come across any good scale plans, or comparisons of Triremes, and quinquiremes, relative size to each other. Can I asume that the heavier ships, would be a fair size bigger?

Costs, but War Fleets of Antiquity is probably the best one I know of.
