News from Hasslefree: Zombie-hunter Kev, McKenzie, Cobra and some weapons

New suppplies from Hasslefree.

Zombie-hunter Kev is a self portrait of Kevin White, the master of greenstuff himself. The miniature is delivered with three weapon options: a fire axe, a pistol and a katana.


McKenzie is a portrait of a real person, too, an employee at Hasslefree. (Hello Kate!)


Seeing Cobra, friends of cinema might remember a tough character from the beginning of the 80s ...
Since the green has been photographed, some minor changes have been made at the edge of his glove and at the wrist and the watch.


There are also some new weapons to ease conversions:
The G36C by Heckler & Koch is a weapon currently in use by many security forces, anti-terror units and so forth.


The generic (and therefore nameless) Machine pistol seems to be the ideal item to equip troops of henchmen serving megalomaniac villians ...

cool, I had a dig on the FOD for it but couldn't turn anything up...

 . Not surprised you couldn't find it.
The pics are well hidden away in a section called the Colouring-In-Room, for showing off your WIPs.
The sculptor was just making the figure for himself. I think its the first figure he has had cast up.

Yuppers, the Zed surfer was hidden away. Excellent character, even if his board isn't accurate.

And, I say. Zombie-hunter Kev would be a pinch to convert into a Zed-fighting me. With the cargos and pull-over hoodie. Just needs some hair, and hopefully he ain't too short compared to other HF male minis.

And does anyone else think there should be a zombiefied version of McKenzie? Those pig-tails just beg to be snatched by dead hands...

I think the Zombie-hunter Kev isn't going to be super-tall, as he is a representation of Kev White, the Hasslefree sculptor, if the heightist banter on the Frothers forum is anything to go by 

Very nice & very useful figure though. Loads of conversion possibilities with different hairstyles, a hat etc.
