Well... you don't see the likes of that every day.

One of my favourite periods...

Nice one Helen.

All the best. Aly

Thanks Aly for your kind words. Interesting period and quite colourful in uniforms.
Best wishes,
Helen

Dang, I almost missed this... now, I know I have a 28mm French Rev. Infantryman from Eureka somewhere, but no idea about its actual location, so I hope Sharpe and his Chosen Men arrive from Brigade Games in a timely manner... (technically speaking, I could just break out some of the 1/72 plastic stuff I have sitting unpainted on sprues in boxes in the garage, and I still may do so, just to get started, although I don't really feel like doing single minis in that scale).

Nice variation in theme and scales so far, btw!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

This is the BIG BATTALIONS Painting club, so ..., well, I won't paint a battalion, but I decided to paint some more figures for my 11th Virginia Regt. I had started some time ago. I did five figures during the last days, all in hunting shirts as I want to get the complete regiment in hunting shirts (with some colour variations ...). All Perry miniatures, and kind of speed painted (at least for me  8)):

No.13: 11th Virginia Regt. soldier #1, AWI

Hello,
my meager contribution to this painting club, as it seems this is the only miniature I own that fits the description:

I am not in any way an expert on Napoleonic uniforms, so I took inspiration for the uniform colours from Feraud, Harvey Keitels character in The Duellists. Please accept my apologies for any mis-stepping viz actual history. I don't even know if that gun he  is wielding is historically accurate or some sort of steampunky anachronism.

I got this miniature from a lot I purchased or traded for on this very forum some months ago. If anybody knows what it is and or who made it, I would be grateful for the info.
Painted today. The hightlights look much softer when not under the harsh lights of the cameras.

Thanks to Kommando_J below I got the pointer I needed to hunt down and identify this mini. It is in fact a miniature named “Wellyn Shaftesbury with pistol” from Eurekas “Pax Limpopo” range. And a good representation of Flashman. Since Flashman was active in and around the American Civil War, I will count this as counting  :D
